King of Hearts Costume

The King of Hearts Costume is a great idea for Halloween or that costume party. For couples it is a great way to share the same theme by being king and queen or hearts. There are many variations in styles for this costume and all look great. The King of Hearts costume can be made easily or you can choose one from the many stores that sell it.
A simple way to make the King of Hearts Costume would be to take a cardboard which is the size of your upper body and have the card design printed or painted on it. You can also find a ready made material with this design in many stores. The outline of the design can also be painted on to the cardboard and then fill in the colors. You will need the same type of design for the front side, as well as the back side, as you will be wearing two cardboard pieces. The back piece can also be a simple heart motif or even the reverse of a playing card.

Underneath this completed cardboard, you can wear a shirt with long sleeves which is black in color. The shoes, gloves and pants can all be of the same black color. The cardboard part can be stuck on to the clothes which you will be wearing or a better option would be to hang it from your shoulders, so that it is easier to get into, or remove. You will also need a crown which can be got form a store.
There is also a King of Hearts Costume, which does not use any cardboard. In this you actually dress up in a king's robe, with the heart designs on its borders. This looks more royal and authentic than the cardboard version, but will be expensive. The robe will be in a deep red color with puffy sleeves.
